Eagle Ridge is a 112
lot subdivision conveniently located between Chesterton and Valparaiso in
Liberty Township, Porter County Indiana. The property has rolling hills,
mature trees, ponds, abundant wildlife, and drains to Salt Creek. Lots will
range from .26 to 1.3 acres in size.
Eagle Ridge is in the
Duneland school district and will have public sanitary and storm sewer,
water, sidewalks, curbed roadways, and ponds for fishing. The ponds
will be dug to a depth to allow fish to thrive.
The Damon Run
Conservancy District will supply sanitary sewer. Indiana-American Water,
through the Damon Run Conservancy district will supply the potable water.
Water supplied by the district will also aid the area in firefighting, thus
making the community a safer place to live and will reduce problems caused
by hard water wells.
Sidewalks will be
installed throughout the entire community enabling people to walk from home
to home and also to the recreational areas creating a true neighborhood.
The roadways will be curbed and prevent water from running into ditches.
Water will enter storm sewers and then directed to the ponds.
The Damon Run
Conservancy District was approved and board members were appointed by the
County Commissioners earlier this year.
